The Inspire the Youth event on 26 November 2016 has been POSTPONED!

Organisers Announce Postponement of Inspired Youth Workshop

Pride Factor and Liquorish Inc, producers of the nationwide Inspired Youth programme, regret to announce that the motivational workshop scheduled for Saturday 26 November at Nasrec has been postponed due to circumstances beyond their control.

Originally scheduled to be the highlight of the second day of the Soweto Festival Expo at Nasrec from 25-27 November, the organisers tried everything in their power to run the workshop as a stand-alone event after hearing last Thursday that the festival had been cancelled.

Thanks to the exceptional support of their partners, sponsors and service providers they thought they had saved the event, only to find that there was insufficient time to get the necessary permit for the new venue from the Local Authorities.

“We are really disappointed to have to postpone the Inspired Youth workshop on Saturday despite the huge effort and support from everyone involved,” said Dene Botha, MD of Pride Factor and the founder of the Inspired Youth movement. “We sincerely apologise to the thousands of young people who were looking forward to gaining inspiration from their favourite role-models.”

“On a more positive note, we are negotiating with the producers of another festival to stage the workshop in early December, and will announce the outcome of these talks shortly.”
